Blissful Balance

Come home to yourself.

My story

I found yoga and breathwork the way most people find the things that save them — by needing them.

I hold a Master of Education in Exercise Physiology and I'm a 200-hour registered yoga teacher. Years ago I founded Blissful Balance Yoga to create a space for people in recovery — or struggling with addiction — to find tools that help re-regulate the nervous system and build the strong physical foundation a lasting recovery program needs.

That work grew out of something I believe to my core: the mind-body connection drives this mission. We can't get well mentally without taking care of our physical body — and a strong body can't carry a recovery that isn't supported from the inside. Healing has to move in both directions.

I've also taught at Ember Hot Yoga, and I'm connected with Y12SR — the Yoga of 12-Step Recovery — bringing yoga's wisdom together with the 12-step path.

But the most important training I've had is my own recovery journey — and breathwork was one of the biggest tools in it.

Somewhere along the way I realized the practices that carried me through could carry other people too. So I'm bringing Blissful Balance back — this time as a coaching practice for people in recovery who want to heal in community, in their bodies, and on their own terms.

What I believe

Healing happens in the body, not just the mind.

You don't need to be fixed. You need space, tools, and someone who believes you can do this.

Recovery isn't linear, and that's not failure — that's being human.

Breath is the most honest tool we have. It's always with you.
